Scan a receipt & fix the items

Point your camera at a paper receipt and HouseTally reads it — the shop, the date, and every line item. When it isn't sure about something, it tells you instead of guessing.

Add a receipt

1. Tap Add receipt.
2. Choose Capture with camera to photograph the receipt, or Upload from gallery to pick a photo you already have.
3. Give it a moment — HouseTally reads the shop, date, total and items for you.

Check and fix the items

HouseTally flags anything it wasn't confident about so you can confirm it rather than trust a bad guess.

1. Look over the list of items.
2. Tap any line to Edit item, or Add item for something it missed.
3. Tap Save receipt when it looks right.

Prefer to type it in?

Choose Manual entry to add a receipt by hand — useful when you don't have the paper, or it's too faded to scan.
